We are so thankful to be celebrating the official opening of our new office and retail showroom!
We closed on the
dilapidated duplex fixer-upper and got to work! I had big ideas. I knew the exterior stairs had to go and we needed to add stairs inside. Of course in the tiny house it was a challenge to fit them in. How in the world will that work? Continue reading Linden Lovin’: part 2
Once upon a time there was an interior designer that loved her job but didn’t love her office quite so much. Her lease was almost up, and her team agreed it was time to start looking for a new place.
Happy New Year! Ok, so it’s February…but things have been a little hectic around here!
But, I really am looking forward to a big 2014, and I hope you are too!
I’ve got lots of good news to announce. We found a new home for JCI, and we hope to settle in sometime in March!!
I would say the paint is still wet, but honestly we don’t even have drywall yet…so there is no paint to speak of. We bought an old, sad duplex, and we are bringing it back to life!
I can’t wait to show you the progress which is already well underway.
It’s really exciting for all of us at the office, and I can hardly wait to invite you all to our grand opening to show off our hard work!
On the business side, we’ve gotten all new hardware and design software to increase our accuracy and customer service. So of course, there’s a bit of a learning curve for us, but it’s fair to say we are all sold on any product produced by Apple.
By the way, if you have any handy moving advice, I’m all ears. The only thing I’m not super excited about is packing boxes and hoping everything doesn’t get broken in the 2 miles it takes from old office to new.
To minimize the chaos we are planning a BIG MOVING SALE tentatively scheduled for the 2nd week in March. So, mark your calendars!

The girls at the showroom started playing Christmas music in Mid-November. And in the past I would NOT have been ready for this, this year I was excited to hear the familiar tunes.
It must be thatI being a mom gives you the urge to buy cheesy holiday decor and get your Christmas tree up early. My friends have warned me that this happens, but I was hoping my “style” gene would prevent the inevitable. It did not.
In fact, I photographed Gus and ordered our Christmas cards the last week of October. You could say I was ready to show off my little chunk and all his cuteness.
It’s our busiest time of year at the showroom and for our design business, as clients get their homes ready for the season of eating, drinking, and entertaining. Needless to say, we’re running around like manic elves!
We’re bringing in some beautiful goodies that are perfect for gifting because there’s absolutely nothing better than giving someone the gift of a cozy, beautiful home.
Wouldn’t you agree?!
